Where is my panda? I wonder... [ang.]

Paulina Tarachowicz - Founder of Bilikid.pl, the most popular Polish brandwhich supports parents and educators in teaching English to children and in bilingual upbringing in Poland. She runs the social media of Bilikid very actively, as well as organises training for parents and techers. Paulina also works in the International School of Poznan in primary education as an IB teacher.

Paulina Tarachowicz is known as a propagator of early language education and non-native

("intentional") bilingualism in Poland. She is the author and self-publisher of the unique guidebook for parents and techers, "Jak nauczyć dziecko angielskiego?" (How to teach English to a child?"). Her first book gained only positive reviews and was sold out. Since her sons were born, she has been speaking to them in two languages: English and their native Polish, which was very beneficial to the kids.

Duringa a traumatic experience in her private life, Paulina indefatigably accompanied her four-year-old son Michał in fighting cancer until his passing. Michał died in October 2021. After such a harrowing experience, together with her husband Filip, they set up a charity, Foundation Panda Team, which supports families whose children are receiving oncology treatment.

This book is a kind of memorial to their son. The main character, Panda Bear Mikey Spikey Hair, is the alter ego of their son, Michał. The story was created to save his short life from being forgotten.
